Jamie has been a full-time CrossFit instructor since 2012. He got his start Crossfitting in 2006 when he discovered the CF mainsite and tried his best to do WODs in whatever basement/garage/university gyms he could find. Now alongside coaching CrossFit classes he’s the founder and head coach of the Brookline Barbell Club, an olympic weightlifting and powerlifting club which he runs out of CrossFit Coolidge Corner.
Jamie is passionate about the “regularly learn and play new sports” aspect of the CrossFit philosophy. He’s currently active in/coaches people in kettlebell sport, powerlifting, olympic lifting, strongman, and circus arts, and in the past has trained capoeira, track and field, wrestling, skiing, and free diving. His biggest hope as a coach is that he can share his enthusiasm for physical culture with CFCC’s members and encourage them to never stop exploring and learning.
