Saturday, August 23rd CrossFit Coolidge Corner will be hosting it’s inaugural In-House Throwdown. We have a great list of competitors so far but the list can get bigger! Next week the workout will be released. It won’t be anything crazy, but it will be a true test of Fitness with multiple components. There will be RX and Scaled Divisions as well.
Part of the fun about competing is forcing yourself into a situation which you are nervous about. Yes, this seems counter-intuitive but it is good stress. Those butterflies in your stomach are a sign of great things to come. Trust me, training yourself to become comfortable with uncomfortable situations will only make you stronger, both physically and mentally. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. This promises to be a very fun day, a huge community building opportunity, and who knows……..maybe a trip to Lulu’s Allston afterwards?!?!
