Today is a heavy day. This is our second week in and most of you have locked down a decent squat pattern. The strength piece should be the focus of today’s workout. You should each start pushing yourselves a little on this and get some weight on the bar. We’ve also got a classic strength and conditioning couplet for the WOD: pushups and carries.. There are few better exercises for your core than heavy farmer’s carries. We’re all learning to “brace” properly for the lifts and this help along those lines. Expect your grip to be tested as well.
Another reminder that the Open House is on for saturday. We’ll have Demo WODs going on every half hour so if you want to bring some friends and family along to have them get a sense of what we do here, then this will be a great intro.
