Goals Board

Today is the start of our Goal’s Board. From now on, when you come into class, part of the Whiteboard will be used to monitor and track individual progress towards a specific thing. We are going to be tracking these over the course of a month; so, keep in mind that most of these will be time sensitive. Reason being is that we want to be able to continue to shift our focus to new, fun and useful tools that need work. With that being said, if a Goal is not reached within a months time, you can absolutely continue that into the following month. However, be careful not to make goals which you know will take you a long time.

When thinking about your Goals, make sure to be honest with your current skill set. We want to be making objectives for ourselves which CAN be achieved within a months time. For instance:

At the end of each class he attends, Mark does 5 unbroken handstand pushups. August has started and now his Goal for the end of the month is to have accumulated 100 Handstand pushups.

This is a great one because A) It’s reasonable, B) It’s time sensitive, and C) It will hold him accountable. Keep these things in mind, and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask Coaches or even each other.
