November Accomplishments

Hey All,

Another great month of accomplishments! This month we all achieved:

 

Lonna- Strict Pull-up, 120# 1RM Back Squat, 195# 1RM Deadlift

Lolo- 105# C+J, 125# Clean, 27s improvement on 2k row (9:33)

Alexis- 165# 3RM Back Squat, 105# 3RM Push Jerk, 270# 1RM Deadlift

Mark- Strict Muscle-up

Shelby- 200# 3RM Deadlift

Nicole- 170# 1RM Back Squat, 210# 1RM Deadlift

Raya- 145# 3RM Push Jerk

Kevin- 125# 1RM Power Snatch

Tanya- 200# 1RM Back Squat, 220# 1RM DL

Casey + Celine- First ever RX WOD (at 6am!)

Crystal- First RX WOD! 11/16/16

Casey- 190# 1RM Deadlift

Kristina- Kipping toes to bar

Kelsey- Strict Muscle-up

Jess- 305# 1RM DL

Alan- Dips on high rings

Celine- 1 Chin-up, 15 Push-ups

Jamie- 1st WOD in three years

Ivan- No Metcons

 

Great work guys! There are some truly special milestones in there. That being said, of all the goals we had written up on the left side of the board the only person who successfully moved an established goal into an accomplishment was Celine with her 15 push-ups (great work Celine!). There’s no chance I’m counting Ivan’s No Metcons as an actual accomplishment (sorry Ivan).

That’s 1 goal accomplished out of 20- AKA we had a 5% success rate in setting goals and achieving them this month. If you accomplished one of your goals but didn’t move it over to the accomplishments, make sure you do that! Acknowledging your successes is an important part of goal setting!

I’m totally part of that crowd that didn’t reach their goal in the one month time frame, and for my part I can definitely say that was due to poor planning. Come January 1st we’re going to be pushing hard at the gym on a number of fronts, we’ll be doing some nutrition work, offering some workshops, and have a variety of new events on the schedule. Leading into the New Year let’s go into it with some momentum, I’d love to see that percentage of goals accomplished increase from 5% to at least 20%. Let’s set some goals, make solid plans, and get on it!
