The CrossFit Games are upon us. First it was the Open, then Regionals (which a few of you got to see in Canton), and now the culmination of this season in Carson, California at the Home Depot Center. Wednesday tested the athletes with more open water swimming and a max event. I think the day was programmed very well; testing pure endurance and then something very short and very heavy. There are a few events that are still to be released, but you can go here to watch the live stream on ESPN3 for the rest of the weekend. If you’ve been curious to see how the top level athletes perform, this is the perfect opportunity and at the highest level.
I love competition. I enjoy the structure and the magnitude of talent under multiple disciplines. I think this holds true to most people who CrossFit particularly because we have all done these movements in some capacity. If anything, watching these Men and Women will give you a greater respect for general physical preparedness and hopefully motivate you to attack certain parts of your game you want to improve!
