Track your progress

You’ve probably noticed the pile of notebooks that sit on the shelf next to the front door by now. A good portion of our clients have learned to track their results and journal their progress. At a bare minimum, its extremely important to know your numbers on the main lifts. Not only does this allow you a quick reference for each time a lift come, but it also will push you to work harder. Try it for a month and see. When you write down what you’ve done at the end of a workout there is a sense of accomplishment and personal growth that is otherwise absent in your training. I say that from experience. I’ve done it both ways and whenever I’ve tracked my wods and lifts, either in a notebook or on my phone, I’ve always seen better results.



Skill work on Snatch/Clean


Partner WOD:

2 rounds:

10 deadlifts

10 power cleans

2 rounds:

10 shoulder to overhead

10 power snatches

4 rounds:

10 later burpees
